At The Recycled Read, we want your blind date with a book to arrive safely and be just as exciting to unwrap as it was for us to prepare.

Shipping

We currently ship within Australia only.

Processing times

Orders are generally packed and dispatched within 2–3 business days.

Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive tracking information where tracking is available.

Please keep in mind that delivery times are estimates provided by the delivery service and may vary, particularly during busy periods, public holidays or unexpected postal delays.

Shipping costs

Standard shipping is calculated at checkout.

Our shipping price contributes towards postage and the packaging materials used to safely prepare your order.

If you purchase multiple books, shipping may increase slightly to account for the additional weight and packaging required.

Delivery issues

Once your order has been dispatched, you'll be able to track its progress using the tracking information provided.

If your order appears to be delayed, missing or has not arrived within a reasonable timeframe, please contact us at hello@therecycledread.com and we'll do our best to help.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and provide photographs of the damaged item and packaging so we can assess the issue and determine the appropriate solution.

Returns & Refunds

Because our books are carefully selected second-hand items, we do not accept returns or exchanges simply because you have changed your mind.

However, this does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

If an item is faulty, significantly different from its description, or otherwise does not meet the consumer guarantees that apply to your purchase, please contact us. Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a replacement or refund.
